For those really dirty carpets and commercial jobs we use the Hydra master RX-20 replaces the manual scrub wand for steam extraction carpet cleaning. Combining rotary agitation with hot water extraction, the RX-20 cleans better and leaves the carpet drier than a wand.

The Rotovac has 5 stainless steel cleaning heads which rotate at 150 RPM . Each cleaning head has its own solution jets and vacuum slots. This produces 750 multi-directional cleaning passes per minute… all day long.

A person with a manual scrub wand can only make around 60 two-directional cleaning passes per minute. As the person tires this number decreases, along with the quality.

With its intensive, aggressive cleaning action, theRX-20 restores heavily soiled carpets and matted traffic areas with ease.

The Hydra master RX-20 attaches to our incredible truck-mounted cleaning system, the Butler System is the top manufacturer of carpet cleaning machines. First, the Truck Mounted provides maximum heat – the system can if needed, maintain temperatures of 200 degrees throughout the job. The hotter the water, the greater the cleaning results as soils literally melt away and are extracted easily. Second, the high-pressure system can if needed, operate up to 1000 psi. This allows the operator to inject cleaning solution deeper into the fibers of the carpet, which gives a more deep-down and thorough cleaning. Finally, the system has a large blower and vacuum system, which means that it is able to extract over 90% of the water from the carpets. This translates into a quicker dry time.

Equipment such as this is available to all carpet cleaning and restoration firms, but it is more expensive to procure and operate.
